Next Wednesday, January 28, we will have a very important booster meeting at 5:30pm in the Hornets Nest to discuss getting a couple of needed groups (committees) together. The Banquet group needs to be established and start planning on putting together a great basketball banquet for these student athletes. Also, Doug Lankford is willing to head up the Scholarship committee and will need some others to serve with him as well. These two groups are very important and I think it could be a good possibility to gain some needed “Time Served” so as to qualify your student athlete for our great scholarship opportunity. We had few opportunities this year for concession duties but I think this opportunity will work well for those who were unable to give of their time in concessions. It will take some discussion so try to make the meeting.
